LS Companion is designed to help you track symptoms, self-checks, and patterns related to lichen sclerosus in a simple and private way. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible while still providing meaningful insights.

You can use LS Companion without creating an account.
If you choose to sign in using Apple, we may store a unique identifier and (optionally) your email address if you choose to share it.
Your data is securely stored using Firebase (Google Cloud services).
If you are signed in, your data is associated with your account so it can be accessed across devices.
If you are not signed in, your data may only be stored locally on your device.
To generate summaries and insights, your journal logs and notes will be processed using AI-based services, specically models provided by Google and Anthropic.
This processing is done using data that is anonymized and designed not to identify you personally.
We do not sell your personal data.
We use trusted third-party services (such as Firebase) to securely store and process data on our behalf.
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the app’s functionality.
LS Companion is not specifically designed for children. If you are under the age of majority in your region, please use the app with guidance from a parent or guardian.
